Here at Barkside Bay, our love for animals began at an early age. This passion for animals led Molly, our founder, to the easy decision of creating a life with the goal to provide animals the same joy they gave to her.
Molly's desire to care for all creatures, great and small, is what forms the core of Barkside Bay. Molly and the Barkside Bay team always strive to go above and beyond what you would expect of a typical dog walker or pet sitter. We are dedicated to providing the best quality care for your pet and offer a wide variety of services that are customizable to your pet's needs. Our goal is to provide you with quality pet care that leaves you knowing that your furry family members are in safe and capable hands.
Meet Molly
Over the last decade, I developed my knowledge and skills to offer you and your pet a safe, communicative, and trusting experience. I have a background in positive reinforcement dog training, teaching hundreds of dogs and their owners in the Erie area. I also have spent multiple years in the dog daycare and traditional boarding industry overseeing day to day operations.
Competing in various dog sports is one of my passions. After a busy day, you can normally find me at various classes with my two youngest dogs, Emmy and Gamble.
I am the proud owner of Zoe (Weimaraner, age 13), Emmy (Weimaraner, age 6), and Gamble (English Springer Spaniel, 1). In my free time, you can find me competing in dog sports with Emmy, out on a Therapy Dogs United visit with Gamble, or snuggling up on the couch with Zoe.
